Having made its maiden voyage in 1999 this is an “older” sister ship to Navigator of the Seas that caused a lot of excitement on its visits to Cobh in 2007.
“The Voyager” is one of the largest and most spectacular Cruise Liners in the World. It has 14 passenger decks, is the length of three football pitches and is twice as big as the QE 2. It has some of the cruise industry's most amazing features - a rock-climbing wall, an ice-skating rink, a casino, a 1350 seat five storey theatre, a three storey restaurant, a two deck library and a Royal Promenade. This “street” the length of a football pitch and four decks high passes through the centre of the ship. Lined with boutiques, bars, and places to eat there is plenty on the Promenade to keep passengers busy.
The interior design of this ship boasts a $12 million art collection!
