Built in 2006 this spectacular ship is 951 feet long, weighs 116,000 tonnes, has 4 outdoor swimming pools and has 16 passenger decks. It can accommodate over 3500 passengers and has 1200 crew. In all the Crown Princess will carry up to 17,000 passengers into Cobh on its five visits in 2009! It has a “Movies under the Stars” cinema, three 500 seat restaurants and a running track that circles the ship - three laps equals one mile!! At the stern of the ship there is a glass walled disco called “Skywalkers”. The Princess Theatre spans two decks and boasts over $3 million worth of sound and light equipment and a 9 piece orchestra.
